“My stay revealed a genuinely welcoming inn where the timber-framed building itself lends a warm atmosphere, complemented by staff who are both cheerful and efficient. The rooms, particularly those in the stable block, proved comfortable and quiet, providing a peaceful retreat. Dinner and breakfast were consistently impressive, with the latter being a generous, cooked-to-order affair, and the location by the river offers delightful walks right from the doorstep.”
